Worker Health & Safety Awareness – 4 Steps
The Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Training regulation requires health and safety awareness training for every worker and supervisor under the Occupational Health and Safety Act
This training introduces workers to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It focuses on the health and safety rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers. It also serves as a general introduction to workplace health and safety.
Pre-Requisites: None
Course Length: 1.5 Hours

- Duties & Responsibilities
- Worker Rights
- Basic Hazard Recognition
- Protecting Yourself
- Participating in Safety
- Safety Resources in Ontario
Successful learners will be issued a wallet card and employers will be provided a Record of Training listing the course and the participants who were successfully certified.
Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness – 5 Steps
This training introduces supervisors to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It focuses on the health and safety rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers. It also serves as a general introduction to workplace health and safety and is a requirement for all supervisors in the Province of Ontario.
Pre-Requisites: None
Course Length: 1.5 Hours

- The Internal Responsibility System
- Dealing with Hazards as they Arise
- Being a Safety Role Model
Successful learners will be issued a wallet card and employers will be provided a Record of Training listing the course and the participants who were successfully certified.
