UPDATE: MoL INSPECTION BLITZ FOCUS CHANGES
As the summer winds to a halt and fall quickly approaches, Ontario employers need to be aware of the changes to the MoL Inspection blitz initiatives, as they relate to all industries.
A detailed list of the 2015-2016 Inspection Blitz Focus can be found through the Ministry of Labour – a link to which can be found below.
The following are the relevant changes to MoL Inspection initiatives as they relate to Health & Safety in the Industrial Sector and the Construction Sector:
Sept. 14 to Oct. 23, 2015 – Industrial Initiative — Material Handling
Oct. through Nov., 2015 – Construction Initiative — Heavy Equipment Operation
Jan. 18 to Feb. 26, 2015 – Industrial Initiative — Safe Operation of Machinery
We will continue to provide updates to MoL initiatives as 2016 approaches and the new schedules are released.
