As of 2001, the Pre-start Health and Safety Review (PHSR) process is mandatory in Ontario. Services related to safety engineering and the pre-start review process includes:
- Equipment and Process Reviews, including Machine Guarding Evaluation
- Combustibility assessments
- Storage/ Racking reviews
- Written reports & recommendations signed by a Professional Engineer
